8 reasons why now is the best time to start flipping luxury watches

People always ask me...

"PJ... If you had to start from zero again what would you do?"

And my answer will always be the same.

If I wanted to make money FAST in 2024, then flipping luxury watches is the way I'd do it.

It requires low startup capital (you only need $1,000 to buy your first watch), you can start immediately (and start making money as soon as tomorrow), and all you need is the internet and access to shipping like FedEx.

Plus you're selling a real tangible product that you can be proud of (you're not shilling sleazy MLM skincare crap or supplements).

But every time I tell others about watch flipping, I hear the same excuse:

"The economy sucks, no one actually buys watches."

"The luxury watch bubble is going to pop any moment and prices are going to crash"

"There's too much competition."

But it's funny...

These exact excuses that are keeping people from getting started are the exact same excuses I've heard for the last 10 years.

Over a decade later, the luxury watch market has grown exponentially.

The people who didn't start back then are still twiddling their thumbs, waiting for the "best" time to start.

DON'T be like those people.

Let me show you why.

Here are 8 reasons why NOW is the best time to start flipping luxury watches.

Not tomorrow.

Not 6-12 months from now, when the market gets "better."

But RIGHT NOW...

Reason #1: The more deals you do, the easier (and more profitable) Watch flipping becomes

Watch flipping benefits from the “flywheel effect.”

Meaning, the more deals you do, the easier and more profitable it gets.

Because someone who buys one luxury watch is very likely to buy multiple luxury watches.

Here’s a student of mine, Nick, who just got started with watch flipping and made a quick $400 on his 4th deal because he leveraged his existing client base:

Also remember - people who buy expensive watches know almost always know other people who are into expensive watches.

So they end up sending you referrals and more business.

Trust and reputation goes a long way in this business.

Reason #2: You can get started with as little as $1,000

There's a common myth that you need tens of thousands of dollars to get started flipping luxury watches.

Or that you need you buy up and stock tons of inventory.

That may be true if you're trying to open up your own brick and mortar store.

That's way too complicated for me lol.

Being an independent watch flipper is much different.

As long as you have $1,000, you can fund your first flip, and use the profits from each flip to fund each following flip.

You keep doing this until your profits snowball and you’re able to afford some of the more high-end pieces.

Here are just a few students who were able to kill it despite not having a big budget:

Reason #3: Luxury Watches Hold Their Value Or Appreciate Over Time (Even Through A Recession)

No, I'm not saying literally any luxury watch you buy will hold its value.

But if you compare the prices of major watch models from ten years ago and today, you'll see the majority have either held steady or increased significantly.

Remember, you're putting your money into real tangible assets that aren't mass produced.

Luxury watches are considered works of art, engineered to perfection, and are made of precious metals like gold, silver, and diamonds.

They will never experience huge price drops overnight... nor will they ever drop to $0.

The same can't be said about stocks or crypto lol.

And if you're lucky enough, you might score a unicorn watch like the guy below.

Reason #4: You only Need Your Phone/Computer and Access To shipping to get started

Seriously, it doesn't get any better than this.

You can run this business from virtually anywhere in the world as long as you have access to the internet and access to shipping (e.g. UPS, FedEx).

I run my entire multi-million dollar watch trading empire with nothing more than my laptop, all from the comfort of my own home.

There's no physical storefront to manage, no paperwork to fill out, no licenses required.

You can literally get started with watch flipping today and start making money tomorrow.

Reason #5: You can make money FAST (It doesn't take months to make your first profit)

What I love most about watch flipping is the speed of it.

Unlike most other businesses, you don't have to wait months (or years) to make your first profit.

Because when you buy the right watch, you can make money FAST.

How fast exactly?

Well... just take a look at my student Brian, who made $7,500 profit off a single watch in just 5 hours.

I don't know about you, but making more than the average person's salary off a single watch in 5 hours is pretty sweet lol.

Obviously, not every watch gets flipped this fast, but it's definitely happens more often than you'd think.

Reason #6:  Watch Flipping Can Be Scaled As Much As You Want

Maybe you only want to make an extra $500-1,000 per month...

Or maybe you only want to flip a few watches to help pay for some bills...

Or maybe you want to scale this to $10,000-$50,000 per month or more and quit your 9-5...

Whatever your goal is, watch flipping can help you get there.

I have students who only flip a few watches per month and are totally happy with what they're doing.

As long as they have some extra money to splurge on food, drinks, and travel... they're good to go.

But I also have many students who decide to take watch flipping more seriously.

These students typically have a goal of quitting their 9-5 and doing watch flipping full-time.

Here's one of my students who hit just hit $100k in profits.

Safe to say he's not working his 9-5 any more ;).

So whether you want to keep this as a small side hustle or scale this to become a 6-figure empire...

The choice is yours.

Reason #7: You get to Wear the most baller watches in the world for FREE

Most people spend their entire lives working 40+ hours per week, save money, just so they can maybe afford their first nice watch 20 years down the line.

But when you learn how to properly buy luxury watches, you can legitimately own your first luxury watch in a matter of days.

And you do so knowing that you won't lose a time... and even make money.

You can literally get paid to wear a watch.

Reason #8: Grow An Elite-Level Network In Record Time

Honestly, this is probably the most underrated reason to get into watch flipping.

I always say that the two best business cards are the car you drive and the watch you have on your wrist.

Someone making $25,000 per year working at Taco Bell isn’t going to be rocking a Rolex.

Sorry, but not sorry.

That’s the truth.

The majority of people who wear 5 or 6 figure watches are people who make a SUBSTANTIAL amount of money.

These are your entrepreneurs, trust fund babies, executives, lawyers, high performing sales reps, doctors, Hollywood actors, influencers, etc...

And there's no better way to get your foot in the door with other high net-worth people than by wearing a nice timepiece.

Because your watch grants you immediate access to this inner circle...

The same people who are big spenders and as you start selling luxury watches to these people, they spread the word to their rich and successful friends.

Imagine being able to be the “go-to” guy for professional NFL players like Andrew has become.

I can't even tell you how many business deals, partnerships, and friendships I've formed simply by wearing a nice watch.

It truly is the best business card in ways that no amount of money can buy.

They often say “you are the average of the 5 people you hangout with” and it’s sure as hell better to be associated with these high performers rather than stoners.

Now that you understand why now is the best time to get into watch flipping, I want to show you how this all works.

On the next page, I'm going to breakdown the exact process of buying and selling a luxury watch for profit with a real life case study.
